So today I went to Lori Wyman’s book signing. Lori is one of the top casting directors in Miami… she’s very well liked and is a wonderful person. She finished her new book titled “The Organic Actor” (click here to buy – awesome book for actors) which she officially launched today. At her book signing, she did something pretty cool… she conducted acting auditions as exercises to demonstrate some of her tips. She brought one line scripts for the actors to memorize and then perform in front of the audience… about 150 jam packed into a very small room. Above, you’ll see me acting my one line, which was “Hey, you can’t do that here! It’s a public beach!”. When this picture was taken, I was calling my imaginary dog, hence everyone is looking in the same direction.
