I booked a SAG national commercial! Wooohoooo! “SAG” is the acronym for “Screen Actors Guild”. All actors love SAG commercials because they pay well and pay residuals!
The commercial was shot on Long Island about 15 minutes from La Guardia Airport. It was a huge set and screw… this was a very expensive commercial to shoot. They actually shot 3 different spots in one day; an office meeting scene, a shopping scene, and closet scene, which was my spot.
I struck up a friendship with a couple of the actors on set, including Edvin, who is in the spot with me. It’s awesome when you meet good and talented people.
And funny thing, the production company knew me from my Miami days… I had auditioned for them before. Such a small world!
